Immediate requirement of Senior and junior hair stylist @ Babysutra

Summary & Duties

Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.

Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes

Listening to client needs to determine their preferences.

Be able to follow instructions given by parents.

Closely follow safety, sanitation, and health standards

Ability to handle different children with utmost care

Exhibit professional responsibility

Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits.

Keeping updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods.

Adhering to salon safety and cleanliness standards.

Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate

Requirements:

Proven work experience in the similar industry

Graduate of an accredited school of styling with a minimum of 500 hours of training plus a minimum of two year of experience in the delivery of professional services.

Several years’ practical experience working with children

Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths

Professional attitude and appearance

Up-to-date with industry trends

Proficiency with hot irons, curlers and blow-dryers

Must be approachable and empathic for children to be comfortable working with you.

Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as determined by relevant regulatory bodies and the law.

Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with parents of children of different ages and from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
